We envision a world of purposeful individuals building intent-driven communities and responsible organizations

Our Roots

The initial sprouts of F&V emerged in 2017 during a conversation with friends while sharing experiences cultivated by years of travel, transformational conversations, professional achievements and accompanying upsets, unconditional love and courageous healing.

Fueled by the felt need to dedicate our time to what we value most, the idea grew and transformed to become F&V. We nurtured and formalized our facilitation skills, expertise, and passion over the years, providing clarity into our experiences and the impact we strive to have on humankind.

After years of journeying, we began to live with more awareness and to notice similar questions reflected in our friends, coworkers, and family. A common vision emerged: a world of purposeful individuals living in intent-driven communities and responsible organizations.

Frangi

Professional background - Frangi joined management consulting with the intent to acquire knowledge and methodologies around how organizations and individuals transform and deliver impact to society. Between 2014 and 2020, at McKinsey & Company in the Milan and Kuala Lumpur offices, Frangi mostly served utilities and the Public Sector on strategic and organizational topics across Europe and Asia. During his years in consulting, Frangi cultivated formal mentorships, coaching and facilitation skills. In 2020 Frangi joined Aberkyn by McKinsey, serving the global network of coaches and facilitators dedicated to leadership development at scale.

Upbringing & Academics - Frangi was born in Northern Italy. During his BA and MA in Philosophy at the Milan State University, he investigated how we structure thinking and how our perceptions inform behaviours and mind views. The study of music, at the Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi of Como and Santa Cecilia of Rome, filled his desire for creativity, discipline, and beauty. A desire to connect self development, decision making and organisations motivated him to earn a BSc in Business & Economics at LUISS University in Rome, MS CEMS in Int. Management at the Wirtschaft Universität of Vienna and The University of Sydney Business School, and an MBA at INSEAD in Singapore and Abu Dhabi.

Coaching - Among various coaching area of interests, Frangi is currently deepening research and exploring areas around:

  1. Purpose and embodiment -(how to know your purpose? how to live by it?)

  2. Identity emergence and singularity - (what and where is “me” in my life-journey?)

  3. Congruence with the self and others - (how aligned are my thoughts, feelings, words, actions, and body sensations with living my being?)

Vera

Professional background - Vera started his mechanical engineering career working with military flight simulators. From here, he made an transition to Paris and lead a sales team dealing with luxury packaging solutions across Europe. There, he focused on operational improvements, system automation, and team building. Vera completed his MBA at INSEAD in Singapore and joined a healthtech startup as COO upon graduation where he oversaw product development and client relations. Vera rejoined the luxury packaging business to run their London Office while pursuing his passion in coaching.

Upbringing & Academics - Vera is from the vibrant mixing-pot city of Montreal and was raised in a Polish & Chilean household. He pursued an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering where he greatly enjoyed the practicality of his studies. This was derailed when Vera was diagnosed with advanced Thyroid cancer at 22 years old only to be declared in remission at 28. The experience left him with an altered perspective and with the need for something more than just engineering – the need to integrate a human component in a professional setting.

Coaching - Drawing from his personal experiences, Vera’s coaching curiosity ignites the discovery of:

  1. Equanimity – (what role does my body play in facing uncertainty?)

  2. Calibration – (what is important after a major shift or upset?)

  3. Fear as a Compass - (what am I afraid of and how can I use that to navigate my decisions) and understanding anxiety (what is this alarm system trying to tell me?)
